Sales

  • Is your sales team aware of which specific product lines and/or items have had declining sales over the past 6 months, for each of your top 50 customers?
  • For the sales team as a whole, do base wages (not including commissions) make up more than 50% of the sales teams' total wages?
  • Are sales commissions greater for new customer sales versus existing sales?

Product Lines

  • Have operating expenses been allocated to each product line to reflect a net product line benefit?
  • Do each of your product lines generate net profits?
  • Have you established minimum levels of profitability by product line?

Cash Flow

  • Do your cash funds allow you to take advantage of quanitity purchasing price breaks?
  • Are most of your accounts payable less than 30 days?
  • Are your annual accounts receivable write-offs less than 5% of your sales?
